2019 Subaru Ascent in Hoover - Birmingham

The Impressive 2019 Subaru Ascent is Pure Satisfaction for Families in Hoover

Subaru's biggest new all-wheel-drive SUV is also its first three-row crossover in years. After the discontinuation of the Tribeca way back when, the Subaru brand went without a larger family SUV for a while. The new Ascent seats eight people standard, but can sit seven in superior comfort. For 2019, trim levels include the Ascent Base, the Premium, the Limited, and the Touring.

Configurable 7 - 8 Passenger Interior

While the Subaru Ascent arrives at base with seating for eight through two bench rows, middle-row Captain's Chairs can be equipped on Premium trim levels and above for seven-person comfort seating. This could be a good option or smaller families. The Premium model also includes Subaru's legendary All-Weather Package--that includes heated front seats, heated windshield wipers, and heated exterior mirrors--and options like Wi-Fi connectivity and climate control options for the rear seats. At the top of the trim line, the Touring offers Subaru-exclusive Java Brown Leather-trimmed upholstery, standard Captain's Chairs, and premium Harman Kardon audio.

Iconic Subaru Looks in XL

Features like standard raised roof rails, 18-inch alloy wheels, 8.7 inches of ground clearance, and Subaru's legendary hexagonal grille clearly mark this capable SUV as a true Subaru. From the caps of its intelligently engineered headlights to the tips of its greener-than-average engine exhausts, the Ascent stands out as an ideal big brother to crossovers like the Outback and the Forester.

BOXER Engine Power and Subaru AWD

No surprise here: every new 2019 Subaru Ascent comes standard with the brand's top-rated Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with X-MODE® technology. Power comes from a turbocharged 260-horsepower SUBARU BOXER engine with 277 pound-feet of torque, paired to a CVT and good for 20  mpg city, 26 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. This powerful crossover boasts a tow rating of up to 5,000 pounds.
