A Quick Look at the 2020 Subaru Legacy Touring XT

A post shared by Subaru of America (@subaru_usa) on

If you are familiar with Subaru, you will know that XT models have a stronger performance. The XT option has moved from the Forester to the new Subaru Legacy for the 2020 model year. Our team wants to show you what this means for the 2020 Subaru Legacy and to get you excited to be behind the wheel of one.

A Stronger Engine

The 2020 Subaru Legacy Touring XT trim comes with a 260-horsepower engine, compared to the 182 horsepower in the non-XT trims. This means you'll be getting more of a back-pressed-into-the-seat performance with only a mild hit to efficiency, putting it at 32 MPG rather than 35 MPG highway.

A More Refined Interior

The cabin of the 2020 Legacy Touring XT comes with some familiar features like leather upholstery and a heated steering wheel, but also has some features that have never been seen on a Legacy before. One of these first-time features include heated and ventilated front seats for comfort in any climate.

As Always, Standard Safety Features

Not exclusive to the XT trim, EyeSight Driver Assistance Technology will come standard on every Legacy. This helps you feel confident when you are on any highway, whether it is congested with traffic or if you are the only driver nearby. Subaru wants to make sure you are kept as safe as possible and including a variety of safety features is the first step towards that.
